When You Arrive
When you arrive at our clinic, youâll be greeted by one of our team members at reception and welcomed into a calm, professional environment. Youâll be offered drinks and light refreshments while you settle in.
Once itâs time for your appointment, our osteopath, will personally collect you from reception and guide you to the treatment room, where your consultation will begin.
All personal and medical information shared during your visit is treated with complete confidentiality and stored securely in accordance with professional and data protection standards.
Your First Visit
If youâre unsure whether we can help, youâre welcome to contact us for a brief chat or a free assessment. However, most patients begin with a full initial consultation which is the most effective way to understand whatâs happening and begin the recovery process.
Your initial consultation includes:
- A detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, and goals
- Comprehensive physical and neurological assessment
- Functional and Orthopaedic testing to identify underlying causes of pain and dysfunction
During this session, youâll receive a clear report of findings, explaining:
- What is going on (Diagnosis)
- Why itâs happening
- How long recovery may take
- How much your treatment plan is likely to cost
Youâll also receive a personalised booklet containing all relevant information, advice, and your treatment plan.
Please note that treatment is not always guaranteed during your first appointment. In some cases, the issue may be complex and require full evaluation before hands-on treatment can begin safely and effectively.
To examine you properly, our osteopath may ask you to remove some clothing. If youâre uncomfortable with this, please let us know. We recommend bringing shorts and a vest top so you can feel at ease during your assessment.
